What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so it is important to find someone with whom you feel a connection. I offer a free 15 minute introductory call during which time we can explore the issues that are troubling you and we can see if we are a ‘good fit’ for each other.

After that, we will arrange our first full session together during which I may ask you some questions about yourself, your relationships and family, and you’ll have space to share what’s bringing you to therapy at this time.

In ongoing sessions, you’re welcome to bring whatever feels most important to you at the time. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship and find a way of working that feels right for you.

Onr therapy essions are held weekly, on the same day and at the same time each week, to provide consistency and a sense of stability.

Sessions are client-led meaning that your experiences, feelings and goals are at the forefront of our work together, and my role is to help you explore these to facilitate self-discovery and personal growth. Whether you’re in crisis, seeking clarity or longing for deeper self-understanding, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space.
